Coromandel Activities
 |
This vibrant region comes to life in summer with an array of crimson Pohutukawa trees and all kinds of activities to enjoy: fishing, diving, camping, surfing, coastal walks, sea kayaking, golf, windsurfing, horse trekking, mountain biking, charter boating – the list goes on!
You can talk to us here at Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park if you would like some more information on activities and day trips. We have some great ideas for trips and adventures around the Coromandel Peninsula!
Here are some ideas for day trips within easy reach from your Hot Water beach accommodation…
Cathedral Cove - the film location of The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian
For a great day trip that isn’t too far to drive - take a drive to Cathedral Cove! You can take a scenic walk to one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets – made famous by the film Prince Caspian. Or charter a boat for diving and snorkelling, or explore the marine reserve and take an exhilarating tour with Cave Cruzer Adventures. Nearby is Hahei Beach which is great for swimming and familly fun.
Campervan Hire -
So you’re planning a New Zealand road trip? There’s no better way to experience New Zealand the way the locals do than to hire a Wilderness motorhome. In case you hadn’t heard, there’s much more to the North Island and the South Island than stunning scenery.
For us, camper holidays in NZ are about tuning your ear to the sound of a native bird, having a brew with a local and watching the sun sink below the horizon in a remote spot. We will show you New Zealand from the inside. Our Adventure Support team will help you plan your trip and answer your questions using their inside knowledge.
Because our motorhomes are not emblazoned with “rent me” signage warning everyone a tourist is approaching, you will blend in with the locals. You’ll find Kiwis stopping to chat. They’ll let you in on the best places to stop and explore.
When you travel with us, you're part of the family – we look after you. But don’t take my word for it, read what other travelers have said about us on the independent travel review website Rankers.
